The EU needs Europe-wide festivities on Europe Day

To tackle Euroscepticism, the EU and its 28 member countries should stimulate the celebration of peace in Europe now for 73 years (!) by asking our youth to organize annual peace parades in all EU capitals for all EU citizens on “Europe Day” (9th May), and wave the EU flag everywhere as the symbol of our “unity in diversity”.

EUROPEACE PARADE 2020

MISSION

> To celebrate the continuation of peace in Europe
> To counter (increasing) nationalism
> To organize massive festivities
> To establish a free public holiday

ANNUAL PARADES ON
EUROPE DAY

For all EU citizens of all age groups and of all levels of education and backgrounds

Featuring well knows artists with (local) national, cultural and historical expressions

28 parades, in 28 capital cities around Europe, organized by the youth of the respective EU host country

ABOUT US

It is proposed that these annual parades to be led and organized by the youth in all EU countries, under the guidance and patronage of the EU in Brussels and the 28 national governments. We got word from the EC that they are willing to consider mobilizing their four youth programs (Erasmus, Erasmus+, Youth in Action and Solidarity Corps) to help with staffing these annual parades in all 28 EU countries.
